Jenny has been a personal trainer for 14 years and is the owner and manager of Capel Gym. She's qualified at level 4 (REPS) and in GP referrals, and has a great deal of experience dealing with injuries. Her clients are dedicated to maintaining and improving their fitness, regardless of their age. She teaches core conditioning and runs our regular weight loss courses. She enjoys weight training and has competed in powerlifting.
Emma is the newest Personal Trainer at Capel Gym, having passed her Level 3 qualifications last year with flying colours. She has been a well-known member of the gym for years and finally took the plunge to join the instructors. Her enthusiasm is infectious, and her classes are growing in popularity amongst members who like a challenge. She already has a group of regular clients who enjoy her style and are feeling the benefit of her regular training already. She understands the challenge of managing to maintain a high level of fitness while raising two boys and doing another job as well. We are really glad to have her on the team.
Ryan qualified as a Personal Trainer in 2012 here at Capel Gym. He runs our Thursday morning circuit class, where his sense of humour and music choices, as well as a well-balanced routine, have maintained its popularity for many years. He has a wide range of personal training clients. Apart from working as a Personal Trainer here, Ryan is a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Judo and has competed at National level. He teaches Judo in clubs and schools in the area as well as training clients in strength and conditioning here at the gym. He is our first choice for younger members when they start training as he has a great deal of experience with this age group.
Caroline has worked at Capel gym for 10 years and is a Level 3 Personal Trainer. In addition, she is a qualified GP referral consultant so can work with clients whose conditions range from diabetes, arthritis, and other chronic conditions. She also works with women at different stages of life fitness, from Pre-and Postnatal clients through to those who are going through Perimenopause and Post Menopause changes. Her holistic approach will meet her client’s needs from basic fitness training to lifestyle planning.
